10,000 home-care sites and 1,200 day-care centers, with 800,000 users
- 8.9 million senior daily-life records processed in six months, building a data infrastructure
- Beyond home care and day care into nursing homes and hospitals: a life-course care OS
Senior & Life has published registration and linkage metrics for the home-care market and outlined a phased expansion toward nursing homes and long-term hospitals.
KPI released on 17 August show 10,000 home-care sites and 1,200 day-care centers on the platform. Users, including providers and families, have reached 800,000.
Comparing the company’s pool with the cited national denominators yields about 70% for home care and more than 35% for day care. These are reach ratios based on self-published registration and linkage data, not independently verified active-use or paid-deployment market share.
A data gap others cannot close: 8.9 million records in six months
The company says the longer-term opportunity lies in the scale and continuity of life data from the field, subject to consent, data quality and active-use verification.
In the past six months the platform collected and quality-processed 8.9 million senior activity records, about 49,000 high-quality records a day.
Medication, meals, sleep, activity, cognitive status, and fall risk are recorded across daily life. More sites bring more data, which improves AI analysis, which raises service value, which brings new sites. That exclusive data flywheel is now running.
The company presents 800,000 linked people and 8.9 million records as a potential data advantage. Independent verification of active users, record provenance and operating outcomes remains necessary.
AI Digital Care Log: expanding into nursing homes and hospitals
On that share, Senior & Life is expanding into nursing homes and long-term hospitals.
Records have often broken when a person moved from home care to day care, then to a nursing home or hospital. The AI Digital Care Log is built so years of change stay connected around one person even when the setting changes.
Families and staff then see more than a daily log: three-month meal trends, the link between sleep trouble and fall risk, and other long-term patterns analyzed by AI.
“Not facility software — national infrastructure for later life”
As Korea becomes a super-aged society, care robots and AI care are arriving quickly, but the core is data that reflects a senior’s habits and health history. The 8.9 million records already gathered from the home-care stage are expected to carry into AI healthcare and real-world data (RWD).
A Senior & Life representative said, “What we aim for is not simple management software used in one facility. It is later-life care data infrastructure that connects one person’s whole senior years. On the No. 1 capacity we have shown in home care and day care, we will link nursing homes and hospitals quickly and complete digital transformation of Korea’s senior-care industry.”
