Guardian adoption grows, and freelance therapists connect directly with families

Home-therapy records join the AI Digital Care Log. Families and therapists can use the platform even without a center affiliation.

Dream AI Lab’s developmental-disability AI platform Jarame has surpassed 350,000 users and is expanding into home therapy — visits by freelance therapists, often called “home-ti” in Korea. The plan is to extend treatment-data management beyond centers into homes and independent therapists.

Jarame is designed so people with developmental disabilities, guardians, therapists, and centers can record and share a child’s long-term change and treatment process. Its core technology is the AI Digital Care Log, which continuously accumulates information from daily life and therapy.

Guardian use is widening the base

According to Jarame, guardian use has grown quickly and total users have passed 350,000. Building on that base, the company will expand matching that connects home therapists with families, following its center-based services.

The 350,000 figure is a cumulative platform-user count announced by Jarame. It is not the same as daily active users (DAU) or full commercial rollout at every institution. Current product status is on the Jarame service page.

Why home therapy has been hard to manage

Home therapy is a visit model in which therapists in speech, cognition, play, occupational therapy, and related fields provide sessions at home. It is used by families who find travel difficult, whose schedules do not match a center, or who want a specific therapist. Finding a therapist, checking trustworthiness, coordinating schedules, and managing records often happen separately, which makes systematic care difficult.

Freelance therapists who are not employed by a center often cannot use that center’s systems. After a family and therapist connect, the resulting treatment information is also easily cut off from other institutions.

Matching plus the care log, not brokerage alone

Jarame differentiates home-therapy matching by combining it with the existing AI Digital Care Log, rather than offering a simple therapist-brokerage service.

When a guardian connects with a therapist through Jarame, goals, activities, and the child’s responses and changes during home sessions can be recorded over time. Freelance therapists can use Jarame’s record system even without belonging to a separate center.

As a result, if a child combines center therapy and home therapy, or changes therapists, prior records can be managed as one continuous dataset centered on the child.

From institution-centered to child-centered records

Developmental-disability platforms have often been built around centers. Jarame lets guardians and therapists use the platform directly, so households not affiliated with a specific center can still be in scope.

Families who receive only home therapy can use the AI Digital Care Log. Families who use both a center and home therapy can connect each set of records around the child.

This speaks to a long-standing problem in the field: information breaks. Children often move through several therapists and institutions as they grow, but records sit in different places, so guardians must re-explain prior context to the next therapist or clinician.

Jarame’s design is to shift scattered institution records onto a child-centered timeline. Center notes, home observations, and home-therapy records connect into one long-term care log so records continue even when the place of care changes.

What accumulated data can support

As data accumulates over a long period, the company says AI can be used not only to store individual notes but to help see period-by-period change, repeating behaviors, and differences before and after intervention. Sharing remains within consent and role-based access. Jarame does not replace diagnosis, prescription, or treatment.

A Jarame representative said, “Developmental-disability care does not happen only inside a center. It continues in the many places a child lives — home, hospital, and therapy rooms. Until now, treatment information broke each time the place changed, and home therapy was one of the largest gaps.”

The representative added, “What Jarame is building is not one institution’s internal system, but a structure in which long-term treatment and life records continue around one person. If freelance therapists and families can use Jarame directly, people who do not use a center can still manage records inside the same digital care-log system.”

Industry observers say Jarame’s move into home therapy can mean more than adding a matching feature. If the guardian base and therapist network grow together, search, matching, sessions, records, and long-term management can connect on one platform. Jarame plans to keep linking centers, guardians, and therapists around the AI Digital Care Log so a person’s long-term change is not cut off when the place or institution of care changes.

Service boundary: Jarame does not replace medical diagnosis, prescription, classes, or therapy. Record sharing follows each institution’s policy and the user’s consent and permission range. Home-therapy matching aims at profile and qualification review and session-to-care-log linkage; availability depends on beta and institution settings. Session contracts and clinical responsibility remain between the guardian and the therapist.
